Byron Shire Council Bioenergy Facility Feedstock

⁠⁠⁠Byron Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for private enterprise and government entities to provide feedstock to Byron Shire’s proposed Bioenergy Plant.

It is envisaged that the feedstock will be suitable for processing in either a wet and/or a dry anaerobic process and will comprise of the following:
* Fats, Oils and Grease.
* Commercial Food Waste.
* Food Organics and Garden Organics.
* Other material suitable for digestion in a Wet or Dry Anaerobic Digestion Process.

It is the Principal’s desire to enter into agreements with more than one supplier of the above listed materials.
