Tender Description
Tenders are invited from suitably skilled and experienced Consultants for the Inspection and Reporting of Timber Bridges in Tenterfield Shire. The bridges are located on various Class B, C and D rural roads in the Shire.
The work involves the Level 3 inspection of 34 bridges, assessment of the current structural capacity of each bridge's deck cross beams, girders, pier/abutment substructure and the submission of a report inclusive of photographs, bridge cross-section and plan layouts, defect identification, a recommendation of the Safe Working Load (GVM tonnes) and maximum axle loading and a list of cost effective measures which do not require wholesale bridge dismantling and major member replacement along with indicative costs for the same for the period between load limit implementation and structure replacement.
