Women's Health and Wellbeing Support Services - Mount Isa Region (including Cloncurry and Camooweal)

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women (the department) is seeking to procure a new women’s health and wellbeing support service in Mount Isa, including Cloncurry and Camooweal. A total of $280,000 per annum (excl. GST) is available for up to five years.

The new service will provide trauma informed counselling and case management support to meet the ongoing needs of women and young women who require assistance to achieve better health and wellbeing. Services will prioritise women recovering from experiences of domestic and family violence and other forms of gender-based violence. The new service will build on, work with and not duplicate existing service responses already provided by specialist sexual violence services and domestic and family violence services through the delivery of trauma informed and recovery focused counselling and related activities.

Industry Briefing

The department will provide an Industry Briefing in Mount Isa on Monday 13 August to provide background to this procurement and clarify details of the Request for Quote (RFQ) Document and customer requirements. The briefing will be held in the conference room, 119 Camooweal Street, Mount Isa (Mount Isa/Gulf Child Safety Service Centre) from 10.30am – 12 midday. RSVP to the briefing is essential.
