Design and Construct Contract Great Northern Hwy Ord River North Section

⁠⁠⁠Investigation, design and construction required to widen/overlay and reconstruct Great Northern Highway upgrade, Ord River North Section as follows:
* Section 1 between SLK 2922 and SLK 2930;
* Section 2 (Optional Works 1) between SLK 2930 and SLK 2940 and bridge at Tickalara Creek;
* Section 3 (Optional Works 2) between SLK 2941 and SLK 2950 and bridge at Frog Hollow Creek.

Tenderers must be prequalified to:
* Road Category R4 or higher;
* Bridge Category B2 or higher; and
* Financial Level 50 or higher.

The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Building Code) applies to the building work associated with this project. By submitting an expression of interest in, or tender for, this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016. Refer to the Building Code at employment.gov.au/building-code for further information.

Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme

It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction (Improving Productivity) Act 2016, at the time of the EOI closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlines by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry - Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2016 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au).
