Tender Description

Provide all plant, materials, equipment, PPE and personnel required to install cementitious grout beneath stockyard stacker and reclaimer rail sole plates. The Works that are to be handed over to CPB include:

(a) Supply and onsite storage of MBT Masterflow 4600 grout mix. Space in the stockyard shall be made available for storage as required.

(b) Provision of all labour and supervision to install MBT Masterflow 4600 beneath 35,800 (approx) rail sole plates, all in accordance with BASF’s ‘Application Guide for Masterflow Cementitious Precision Grouts,’ and specification SPEC-000-C-00110. Note that rail shall be installed on plates prior to grouting, and strip footing concrete (installed by Thiess) shall be hand finished. Clearance between strip footings on berms is approximately 13m, and minimal contractor interface is expected. Note conveyor module footings shall not be in place as indicated on the drawings. The subcontractor is to allow for application training offered by BASF supplier (contact details shall be made available upon request).

(c) Provision of all equipment and materials required to install and cure MBT Masterflow 4600 grout in accordance with the specification.

(d) Provision and coordination of sampling labour, apparatus, and testing regime in accordance with quality requirements in the specifications. Onsite NATA accredited testing facility is available with nominate concrete supplier. Contact details for this provider shall be issued upon request. Minimum compressive strength at 28 days shall be no less than 80 MPa

(e) Provision and maintenance of fully serviced mine compliant site vehicles (BHP Mine Spec ANCAP 5 rate LV’s) as required, including all additional features as required by BHP and CPB specifications. Subcontractor may elect to make use of CPB supplied bussing service between accommodation village and site. Subcontractor shall also be required to coordinate and distribute the necessary materials and equipment.

(f) Mobilisation and demobilisation of all personnel, materials and equipment, including for all transport and travel requirements. Subcontractor to note that 1 No. demobilisation and remobilisation shall be required in accordance with the Construction Programme.

(g) Provision of pre-start medicals and pre-mobilisation training in accordance with BHP and CPB requirements
(h) Storage containers as required, and temperature control of materials where necessary
