Surat is a town in the Maranoa region with a population nearing 300. The property is situated on the western side of town with the Multi-Purpose Health Service Centre, School, Park and the Golf Club all in close vicinity.

The property is zoned as “Residential” in the Maranoa Planning Scheme 2017 and is comprised of:
* four bedrooms;
* lounge room;
* bathroom with shower and separate bath;
* stand-alone toilet;
* a modern kitchen with gas cooktop/electric oven and double sink;
* split system air-conditioners in all bedrooms, wood heater in lounge room, evaporative air
* circulation system throughout the house;
* tiled floors in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry;
