RFP - Provision of Legal Services for Transmission Networks Connections & Regulatory Advice

⁠⁠⁠Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Provision of Legal Services for Transmission Networks Connections (Generation or load) and for Regulatory Advice.

TasNetworks is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced Legal Firms for the provision of speciality external legal support in respect of two related areas:
1. Negotiation of connection to TasNetworks transmission network bygenerators and load customers; and
2. Regulatory advice in respect of electricity-specific regulation (National Electricity Law, National Electricity Rules, National Energy Retail Law and National Energy Retail Rules, together National Electricity Regulatory Framework).
Successful Applicants will become part of a panel of external legal providers that will be engaged by TasNetworks for specific transmission connection transactions and for regulatory advice.

Applicants are requested to provide a clear and concise statement of their capabilities in their response to the Request for Proposal (RFP). Further details are provided in the attached document pack.
Please ensure in your RFP submission you address all the requirements listed in the scope document along with any other supporting documentation.

Submissions are requested in Portable Document Format (PDF) and must be lodged in the Tenderlink electronic tender box set up for this EOI by the closing time 2:00pm AEST Friday the 3rd of August 2018. Please allow sufficient time to up-load your response.

An online forum has been set up on the Tenderlink site for all questions from all Applicants, and replies from TasNetworks will be posted solely via this forum. The forum closes two days prior to the RFP closing time.
