Expression of Interest - Purchase and / or Development of Former Shire of Plantagenet Depot Site

⁠⁠⁠Expressions of Interest are sought for the purchase and / or development of the former Shire of Plantagenet depot site, Mount Barker.

The property comprises seven lots of approximately 12,234m2 in total (Lot 93 and Lot 500 Marion Street, Lots 411-414 Menston Street, Lot 40 Langton Road). Proponents may lodge a submission for any individual lot or a combination of any lots.

The lots are zoned Residential under the Shire of Plantagenet Town Planning Scheme No. 3 with a R17.5 density coding. This density coding allows for an average lot size of 571m2 and a minimum of 500m2 per single house or grouped dwelling. The overall site has potential for 21 residential dwellings.

The zoning permits residential or nursing home development. The residential component may include the provision of single houses, grouped dwellings, single bedroom dwellings and / or aged or dependent persons' dwellings.

The closing date and time for the receipt of Expressions of Interest is at 4.00 pm on Thursday 16 August 2018.

Expressions of Interest must be addressed to: Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Plantagenet, PO Box 48, Mount Barker WA 6324, and be marked clearly with ‘Expressions of Interest - Former Shire Depot Site'.
