Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Queenland Corrective Services has a fleet of escort vehicles used to transport offenders between correctional centres, to and from correctional centres to courthouses, medical facilities and to attend other escorted leaves of absence. One of the vehicle types in the fleet is the short haul vehicle which comprises an Isuzu NQR450 cab chassis that has been modified and fitted with a module to accommodate twelve (12) twelve persons in six (6) segregated cells. The vehicle module can be attached to several vehicles throughout its life cycle.

QCS wishes to establish an arrangement with an appropriately experienced supplier to return the retiring cab chassis to its orginal condtion, refurbish the escort vehicle modules and fit them to replacement cab chassis. The cab chassis is not included in the scope of work and will be provided to the successful supplier.

Prior to releasing the Invitation to Offer (ITO) documentation it is a mandatory requirement that an appropriate person from your organisation completes and returns the attached Deed of Confidentiality. Completion of the deed is required prior to making the Invitation to Offer (ITO) documents available. The release date for the ITO documents is 13 July 2018.

In order to expedite this process it is requested that you provide the name and email address of a representative from your organisation to receive the ITO documents. Refer to attached Contact Form.

Subject to security considerations, QCS reserves the right not to issue ITO documents to an organisation.
