Whitsunday Coast Airport Advertising

⁠⁠⁠500.2018.0016 - Council is calling for Tenders from experienced airport advertising concession parties interested in operating an advertising program for the Whitsunday Coast Airport.

Council is currently undertaking a significant upgrade to the Airport to provide a facility that reflects the region, supports further passenger growth and enhances the passenger experience. The advertising program will assist in achieving this vision.

It is envisaged the successful party will provide a proven track record of developing successful advertising programs in airports of similar size. This also includes the ability to complement and enhance the look and functionality of the terminal.

Tenders should provide a proposal that indicates how infrastructure costs will be met and how revenue will be divided.

Whitsunday Coast Airport has a passenger throughput of approximately 460,000 passengers (based on a rolling 12 month average).
