West Ryde Plaza Landscape, Civil & Ancillary Works

In April 2018 Council previously called Tenders (COR-RFT-01 /18) for the West Ryde Plaza Domain Upgrade. Following the Council Meeting in May 2018, Council decided to cancel all tender submissions and re-scope the Works Under the Contract (WUC).

It was decided as part of the re-scoping to separate the WUC into the following two (2) tender packages for "construct" only:
* Tender Package A - Landscaping / Civil / Electrical
* Tender Package B - Architectural Shade Structure - future tender ( date to be confirmed)

In May 2017 City of Ryde's Communication and Media Section conducted a series of consultation events for the West Ryde Plaza Landscape, Civil & Ancillary Works. This included a stall at the Easter Parade (before the main consultation in May), a stall in the plaza, two drop in sessions at West Ryde Library and website information, including a survey and social pinpoint survey.

The West Ryde Plaza Marketplace is located at Anthony Road, West Ryde and has a mix of stores and apartments and is anchored by Woolworths and Coles which are partly accessed from the Plaza.

The City of Ryde Council is seeking tender submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to coordinate and, deliver Package A based upon the tender drawings and Technical Specifications. This tender COR-RFT- 13/18 is for Tender Package A Landscaping / Civil / Electrical.

The main elements of the works are:
* Landscaping Works: Pier footings only for future architectural shade structure
* Additional Trees, Seating and New Playground
* Planters, Pier footings (for future architectural shade structure)
* Electrical Works: Wi-Fi, CCTV and lighting
