Liverpool Heritage Inventory Review and Update
Tender ID: 359690
Tender Details
Tender Description
This proposed project seeks to improve the availability of information to heritage owners, developers and organisations as to the significance of the heritage items within the Liverpool Local Government Area and any specific advice or guidance that may be associated with the property.
Liverpool City Council is seeking an experienced heritage architect to undertake a gap analysis of the existing Liverpool State Heritage Inventory database to determine any gaps in existing information and where improvements need to be made.
The intention of this project is not to prepare a new heritage study identifying new items but to review the existing inventory datasheets and to improve the information available to the public.
The consultant will be primarily tasked with cleaning up the State Heritage Inventory, removing false or duplicate inventories, as well as combining group inventories into one simple inventory inclusion.
A component of this will be the undertaking of site inspections to collect updated photos and the development of updated physical descriptions for the property. This will help inform the development of specific guidelines and advice for development and adaptive reuse.
