Tamworth Regional Council operates 11 active solid waste landfills and/or small vehicle transfer stations and manages 3 closed landfill sites. Council is seeking to enter into a long term arrangement with a number of consultants for the provision of waste consultancy services to Council's Water and Waste Directorate. The proposed arrangement will streamline Council's ability to procure consulting services and hence enable Council to deliver its capital program more efficiently than using a traditional project by project procurement approach.

The initial engagement will be for a three year period. This may be extended by up to two years at the discretion of Council. The decision to extend the engagement will depend on a Consultant's performance during the initial term and the circumstances existing at that time.

Tenderers with experience in a broad range of solid waste consultancy services are invited to tender in accordance with the tender documents which are available from TenderLink.
