Tender Description
Scope:
* Construction of new outer wharf structure located at the entrance to Darwin Harbour off HMAS Coonawarra.
* Tubular steel piles and suspended insitu concrete deck 250m long x 25m wide parallel to the shoreline with 40m and 50m concrete and piled access bridges.
* Nil dredging required.
* Two mooring dolphins at each end.
* Cast-in services conduits and pits.
* Steel-framed lattice structure fender panelling and “TideSlide” nightrider mooring system on independent piles.
* Two steel-framed access bridges to the dolphins and suspended steel framed services catwalk.
* Field applied coating protection systems for piles.
* Cathodic protection systems.
* Bollards and capstans.
* Co-ordination with other contractors for the installation of fuel, power, lighting, security, communications, potable water, fire water, sewer and stormwater services.
* Design is 100% complete. Tenderers will be required to provide a conforming tender, but will be invited to provide an alternative design and construct submission.
