Tender Description
Willoughby City Council ('Council') seeks the services of a suitably qualified organisation to provide an innovative, robust and cost effective solution to ensure Council's Backup and Disaster Recovery requirements are met.
Council's current backup and disaster recovery infrastructure is due for renewal and as such Council is taking the opportunity to investigate options that might be suitable going forward.
Respondents will submit their proposed solution(s) with an indicative timeline and cost estimate, and relevant information regarding their capability to undertake this work.
Some broad objectives for the project are:
* Provide a highly available infrastructure environment
* Provide redundancy for servers
* Allow the organisation to be flexible and responsive
* Promote best work practices and ongoing improvement
* Improve the user experience
* Exploit new technologies
* Maintain simplicity and flexibility over time
* Optimise the total cost of ownership
* Minimise any transition disruption

* DR Infrastructure
* DR Storage
