On 9 September 2016 the Minister for Local Government, Paul Toole, announced the newly formed "Bayside" Council through the acceptance of the City of Botany Bay and Rockdale City council proposal. This amalgamation meant that Council was required to merge multiple applications and processes, including Information and Records Management systems.
Both Botany and Rockdale Councils had a version of HP TRIM. To ensure business continuity Bayside Council have taken the decision to implement the latest version HPE Content Manager (CM) 9.2 Build xxx.
The Bayside Council has developed this Request for Quotation for the upgrade of HP TRIM version 7.3 to HPE CM 9.2 and for the merger of the two existing datasets.
A recent Health Check of both 7.3 environments has been conducted and this document can be provided as the baseline best practice guidance for both the setup of the new 9.2 environment, and the merger of the two current 7.3 environments. There is also migration scenarios listed out in this recent report.
