Council intends to enter into a contract for the purpose of engaging a materials conservation and maintenance specialist to assist Liverpool City Council in addressing a knowledge and skills capability gap associated with the maintenance and conservation of hundreds of monuments and memorials within the Liverpool City Council area.

The specialist, with the assistance of the community, will prepare an inventory of all monuments and memorials identified within the local government area. This inventory will detail the material and design of each monument or memorial, include information on any inscriptions or elements of particular interest. The inventory will also include any conservation or maintenance issues identified at the time and any known history of maintenance and conservation works.

Tender enquiries must be submitted to Shahrouz Goharshahi, Procurement Officer via the online forum. Liverpool City Council staff are not permitted to take verbal enquiries in relation to the tender.
