Council is seeking to partner with multiple contractors to assist in the delivery of its tree maintenance and planting services program. Council manages approximately one million street and park trees and manages a planting program of a minimum of 9,000 trees per annum.

Established suppliers with proven capability, resourcing capacity and work health and safety maturity are highly desirable attributes that form important aspects of Council’s evaluation.

The following six categories are being offered:
• Category 1 – Area 1 (North Brisbane)
• Category 2 – Area 2 (West Brisbane)
• Category 3 – Area 3 (East Brisbane)
• Category 4 – Area 4 (Central Brisbane)
• Category 5 – Area 5 (South Brisbane)
• Category 6 - Project / Quotable works

The high level scope requirements of categories 1 – 5 is to maintain street, Council Sites and park trees in Brisbane City to the highest aesthetic and structural standards. The scope of service generally encompasses all of the following as further detailed in the specification:

• General tree maintenance
• Tree and stump removal (as part of the tree removal process)
• Stump removal (pre-existing stumps)
• Supply and Planting of new trees and then their establishment
• Root management
• Customer liaison
• Emergency/disaster recovery event (note* this type of work is available to Council for issue across all categories; 1-6
