Byron Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced parties for the design and construction of approximately 1050m of 250mm nominal diameter sewer rising main.

As part of the asset replacement program for the Byron Bay sewerage system, Byron Shire Council proposes to construct a new 250mm nominal internal diameter sewer rising main to replace the existing sewer rising main RM3008.

Byron Shire Council has chosen a corridor in which the new main is to be constructed and requires a contractor to undertake a detailed design for the new main and, following approval of that design by Council, construct and commission the new main.

The contractor will also be required to drain and plug the abandoned rising main.
