Barkly Regional Council is calling for tender for the repair of existing sealed roads at Alpurrurulam Community in the Barkly Region, NT.
The community of Alpurrurulam is located about 576km east of Tennant Creek and 17km from the NT/QLD border Latitude 20°58'S and Longitude 137°55'E. There are approximately 440 residents of which 87.5% are Aboriginal. This remote community is accessible by road and air and is linked to Tennant Creek via the Barkly and Stuart Highways.
