Expression of Interest for the Wahroonga Park, Dubbo Playground Renewal

⁠⁠⁠Wahroonga Park is classified as a ‘Local High’ park asset within Dubbo Regional Council’s park hierarchy and is respected as one of Dubbo’s finest BBQ park locations.

The park is located within a highly visible South Dubbo location. Due to its location and presence of ample BBQ facilities, amenities, picnic shelters, playground shade cloth and existing concrete toddler cycle track which surrounds the existing playground footprint, the park enjoys an extremely high visitation rate by locals and visiting families, groups and is often frequented by birthday parties or events.

Under Council’s asset renewal program the existing playground has reached its useful life expectancy and has been identified for renewal. Dubbo Regional Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced playground designers, suppliers and installers to provide a ‘District High’ level replacement playground for the park. The playground renewal for Wahroonga Park will be carried out in two (2) stages over the next four (4) years
