Jewry Street Bridge Duplication and Timber Bridge Replacements

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from suitably qualified Contractors for Contract No. T048/2018, Jewry Street Bridge Duplication and Timber Bridge Replacements.

It is a Quality Assurance Design and Construct contract with method of payment being Lump Sum. The scope of work comprises of design and construction of:
A new two lane bridge adjacent to the existing Jewry Street bridge; and
replacement of three existing single lane timber bridges with new reinforced concrete bridges.

All of these are located within the Tamworth Local Government Area.
Tenderers are required to attend the compulsory pre-tender briefing meeting and site inspection in order to submit a conforming tender. The briefing meeting and site inspection will be held 10.00am AEST, Thursday 10 May 2018, Ray Walsh House, 437 Peel Street, Tamworth.
Tenders close at 11:00am AEST, Thursday 7 June 2018.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender and any Tenderer who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
