Reviewers and Mentors for the Suicide Prevention Hub

⁠⁠⁠Suicide Prevention Australia (SPA) is seeking Evaluators to become Expert Reviewers and Mentors for The Suicide Prevention Hub: Best Practice Programs and Services (The Hub). The Hub is an online resource supporting communities to find quality, evaluated, suicide prevention programs and services.

The Hub is the first resource of its kind in Australia. It seeks to drive quality improvements across the suicide prevention sector. All programs and services listed on The Hub have been independently assessed by expert reviewers.

The Hub also aims to provide opportunities for organisations to build capacity to improve their evaluation or program design through mentoring. For organisations that do not meet the requirements to be listed on The Hub, mentors will be paired with organisations operating in the sector and evaluation experts to improve their programs and services.

The Hub has been developed by SPA in partnership with Orygen, the National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health, and an independent Expert Advisory Group consisting of representatives with knowledge and expertise in lived experience, public health research, clinical research, evaluation, behavioural research and service delivery.

SPA is seeking expert Reviewers and Mentors who would be interested in becoming involved in supporting The Hub by reviewing evaluated and evidence-based programs and services, and become mentors. Both of these roles are in a paid capacity.
