Tender Description
Tenders are invited from contractors to remove hollow bearing trees on sections of the Newell Highway between Mungle Back Creek and south of Boggabilla, approximately 90km north of Moree, NSW and within the Moree Plains Shire Council local government area. Roads and Maritime is seeking tenders via e-tendering.
This work consists of (but not limited to):
* Site establishment and dis-establishment of work
* Control of traffic including the provision of approved Traffic Management Plans to facilitate the construction of the work
* Removal of hollow bearing trees
* Mulch the tree tops, branches (less than 200mm) and leave the trunks in the corridor outside the clear zone as habitat
* All other work which you are or may be obliged by the terms of the Contract to undertake together with any work which is necessary or incidental to the work and all associated coordination and supervision of such work.
The work is to be constructed within, upon and next to an operating road adjacent to live traffic with a high proportion of heavy vehicles. The Work Under the Contract is to be carried out with the least possible disruption to traffic and accesses to nearby properties.

By submitting a tender for this project you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016.
It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) at the time of entering into the contract for ‘building work’ for the Project and must maintain accreditation under the Scheme while the ‘building work’ is being carried out.
