Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The scope of “Building Trades & Ancillary Maintenance Services” includes the provision of “Maintenance” associated to Council’s existing and/or newly acquired buildings, structures, fixed assets across Council’s portfolio.

These services are required to ensure the effective operation of Council’s diverse range of facilities and services for the community. Generally, services will be required for maintenance and repairs with Contractor’s sourced and engaged on an as needed basis.

In this regard, Council is seeking established and suitably resourced contractors with extensive experience in the nominated “Service” and the associated work on offer.

Respondents may tender for one or more of the services on offer.

Council may appoint one or more suppliers to provide the services required.

All works need to be undertaken in accordance with the relevant Building Codes, Standards, Regulations, Acts and Statutory requirements.

The scope of services includes: (includes but is not limited to)
1. Carpentry
Timber framing, joinery works, skirting & architraves, door & window hardware, easing and adjusting of doors & windows, hanging of new doors etc.
2. Electrical
Cabling, building lighting, sports field lighting, switchboard, general power outlets (GPOs) repairs/modifications etc.
3. Plumbing
Unblocking toilets, pipes, drainage, sewerage, stormwater clearing & replacement, and replacing taps & washers etc.
4. Roof Plumbing
Leak detection & repair and replacement of flashings, down-pipes, gutters & roof sheets, installing roof tarps etc.
5. Floor & Wall Tiling
Water-proofing, replacement of damaged tiles, re-grouting & sealing etc.
6. Metal Fabrication
Onsite works and workshop fabrication.
7. Painting
Preparation and painting.
8. Graffiti
Locating, removal and reporting.
9. Gyp-rocking
Wall linings, wall partitions, set ceilings and ceiling grids, patching & setting etc.
10. Roller Doors & Shutters Garage doors and roller shutters, tracks, locks and motors etc.
11. Shop-fitting
Repair/ replace aluminium frames, doors and windows etc.
12. Glazing
Replace cracked/ damaged glass, 24 hour emergency response
13. Fencing
Includes chain-wire, colour-bond and timber fencing.
