Brief Description of Works: The project involves the design and construction of a grade separated interchange with Kalamunda Road bridging over Roe Highway. The project includes realignment and construction of approximately 2.5 km of Roe Highway (two lanes in each direction), construction of a bridge deck for Kalamunda Road Stage 1 (four lane bridge deck, two lanes in each direction), realignment and construction of Kalamunda Road either side of the bridge and construction of a Principal Shared Path from Maida Vale Road to the southbound exit ramp.
Pre-qualification Required: Roadworks R4 or higher, Bridgeworks B3 or higher and a financial rating of at least F75.

By submitting an expression of interest in, or tender for, this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016. Refer to the Building Code at employment.gov.au/building-code for further information.”
“It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government building and construction industry Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme, established by the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth), at the time of entering into the contract for the building work and maintains accreditation while the building work is being carried out.
The builder must comply with all conditions of Scheme accreditation and the National Construction Code performance requirements in relation to building materials”.
Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry - Accreditation Scheme) Regulation 2016 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au).”
