DTA Marketplace - Seller Areas of Expertise Assessments
Tender ID: 351977
Tender Details
Tender Description
Area of expertise assessors are required to assist in evaluating whether supplied seller documentation meets specified criteria. Relevant experience in as many of the areas of expertise required on the Digital Marketplace (Marketplace) as possible is a clear advantage to applicants.
As part of the National Innovation and Science Agenda, the DTA is delivering the Digital Marketplace. The current Beta release provides a richer and simpler environment for technology procurement, enabling businesses, especially SMEs and start-ups, to provide specialist digital services to government. The vision is to create an digital environment that accommodates the level of simplicity, creativity and structure appropriate to each procurement interaction.
To join the Marketplace as a seller, sellers first apply to become a registered seller. When a registered seller expresses interest in an opportunity posted by a buyer, the sellers expertise is assessed. If the seller is successful in this assessment, the seller becomes an active seller for that area of expertise. When a seller is an active seller, they can respond to opportunities in their assessed areas of expertise.
We require assistance to help us to clear the backlog that we currently have for seller areas of expertise assessments.
The assessment includes reviewing case studies provided by sellers against the assessment criteria for the area of expertise, confirming seller references, and assessing pricing. This assessment may also take into account:
* relevant tools, methodologies and technologies for the area of expertise
* risks not considered in other assessment criteria.
There may also be a need for level 1 support - directly interacting with users to resolve issues.
