PTA is seeking to implement remote condition monitoring of all signals’ points machines across the rail network - Midland Line, Mandurah Line, Fremantle Line, Joondalup Line and the Armadale Line.

This EOI process is the first step in the process to selecting the Contractor for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a point condition monitoring system. PTA intends to select from EOI Respondents, a shortlist of up to four parties to undertake a six (6) month trial of their proposed monitoring and reporting systems.

The trial is part of a signals type approval, with extensive testing to be undertaken over the six (6) month period before assessing suitability of each participant’s monitoring and reporting solution at the end of the trial period.
