Expansion of Hill Inlet Lookout Whitsunday Island

The Department of Environment and Science requires the services of a suitably qualified and capable Supplier to undertake lookout works at Hill Inlet, Whitsunday Island.

The constructed facilities will comply with all relevant Australian Standards and reduce site congestion and aid pedestrian flow at this popular location.  Two (2) elements are involved in the work: 

1. Installation – the construction of a new timber lookout of approximately 43 m2. T

2. Expansion – the construction and expansion of an existing timber lookout by approximately 40 m2.  This will be described as

Site Inspection:
A non-compulsory site visit will be held at Hill Inlet Lookout - Tongue Point, Whitsunday Island on Wednesday the 18th of April 2018. QPWS will arrange vessel transport to the site departing from Airlie Beach at 8.30am.

All Suppliers MUST register their intension to attend the site visit by no later than 5.00pm on Tuesday the 17th of April 2018 to secure a place on the vessel.
