Tender Description
Powerlink is seeking to evaluate the capabilities of the market to deliver transmission line refit works on Powerlink’s operational high voltage structures (typically steel lattice structures) within the 132/110Kv and 275kV network via a single stage Registration of Interest (ROI) process.
Powerlink is seeking respondents who have the capacity to deliver the following elements of high voltage transmission line refit works:
* Condition assessment works;
* Clearing works;
* Construction works for transmission line refit (including steel member replacement, nuts and bolts replacement and surface preparation and painting);
* Performing the role of Recipient and other authorised roles as required in the Principal’s Procedures for Safe Access to High Voltage Electrical Apparatus (“SAHVEA”) available at: https://www.powerlink.com.au/sites/default/files/2017-12/SAHVEA%20Procedures.pdf
* Design to support the construction works;
* Material procurement; and
* Project and contract management of the above works.
Powerlink is not obliged to enter into a formal procurement process. Furthermore, Powerlink does not warrant that any Invitation to Tender, if issued, will necessarily reflect the functional scope of Powerlink’s requirements as set out in this ROI document.
