Provision of Kerbside Waste Collection Services to the Southern Midlands Council

⁠⁠⁠The service tendered for is the engagement of the successful Tenderer as an Independent Contractor as determined by Southern Midlands Council in its sole discretion.

Tenderers can bid on either PART A or PART B or BOTH:
Part A
i. Undertake the kerbside collection and disposal at the Jackson Street landfill of household waste within the Southern Midlands Municipality on a fortnightly basis (approximately 1698 MGBs with a capacity of 240L each); and
ii. Undertake the kerbside collection and removal to the Recycling Centre of co-mingled recyclables within the Southern Midlands Municipality on a fortnightly basis (approximately 1660 MGBs with a capacity of 240L); and
Part B:
i. To supply and distribute MGBs at the commencement of contract period and supply replacement MGBs which are damaged or stolen as required by Council;

The complete specification and conditions of the contract for the services tendered for are set out in the Independent Contractor Agreement.

The draft contract 04 2018 is for the provision of a kerbside collection service.

The terms of agreement for the supply and distribution of MGBs will be a separate document (not provided with the RFT).
