Halikos Construction has been awarded the Northern Territory Government's design, development and construction of the New Warren Park Stadium.

The design for the stadium has been developed with the stakeholders NRLNT, NRL and NT Government.

The key features of the proposed design include:

* three full sized fields with lighting, one field to national standards.
* 1200 capacity grandstand facilities
* NRL compliant change room facilities
* corporate facilities
* food facilities
* over 600 car parks
* flexibility to host other events.

The design development phase for the project commenced February 2018, with demolition and civil works expected to begin during March / April 2018.  Structural works will start April / May 2018, with project completion scheduled for March 2019.

All Subcontractors and Suppliers wishing to provide an Expression of Interest (EOI) for any of the available packages for the Warren Park Rugby League Stadium Project must comply with the Work Health & Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011 and the Work Health & Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Regulations and the Building Code 2016.

In addition, Subcontractors must be Contractor Accreditation Limited (CAL) accredited for works priced at $100,000 + GST and above.

Finally, all Subcontractors must provide copies of their current workers compensation and public liability insurance certificates of currency, with the EOI.
