Tender Description
Design and supply solution to reduce dust emissions to as low as practically possible at the ROM Bin ore transfer point.
The open air system must reduce dust emissions, specifically particles of size 30μm and smaller, by at least 50% (time weighted average) compared to the same ore transfer point operating with the system switched off but otherwise under similar conditions.
The ROM Bin will operate with dual loading from two opposing sides. The bin plan dimensions are 12.5m x 10m.
Vendors are required to demonstrate;
1. Previous installation of the proposed dust suppression system to a ROM Bin or similar open air application.
2. The system has been operating for a minimum period of 12 months and proven to be effective.
3. The system is easy to maintain.
Additional preferred details from the vendor;
1. A system that is a Modular Design and/or turn-key.
2. Ability to pre-commission prior to transport to site.
3. Ability to be modified to other open air dust suppression applications.
4. Industry recognition for the application of the proposed system.
5. Testimonials from operators of the proposed system.
