Tender Description

Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) going to market for ‘IRIS Solution Services’. DFES’ Incident Response and Information System (IRIS) is a replacement solution for the organisation’s current Mobile Data Terminal (MDT).

DFES will be seeking the services of a single vendor to supply hardware, software and solution services for the design, development, documentation, installation, certification and transition to support of a replacement MDT for DFES’ Career Fire and Rescue appliances. The required solution components are anticipated to include, but not be limited to a docking station, brackets to mount the docking station, and ancillary (hardware and software) components to integrate the solution in each appliance.

The provision of the replacement ruggedised tablet device is not included in the scope of this request. DFES will be sourcing the proposed device through a separate procurement activity.
