Primary Care Services in the Mareeba Community

⁠⁠⁠The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) in conjunction with the Primary Health Network Northern Queensland is seeking Expressions of Interest from private medical practices regarding the provision of primary care services to be conducted for the Mareeba Community from the Mareeba Hospital.

The private medical practice will be required to operate and manage the Practice at the Mareeba Hospital (21 Lloyd Street, Mareeba). A CHHHS Medical Practioner, Registered Nurse and Administrative Support Officer are available if required.

CHHHS will make available a number of consultation rooms and required administrative and clinical equipment at the designated area within the Mareeba Hospital.

Dependant on the quantum of staff provided by the CHHHS, Revenue/Billing is proposed to be split between the private medical practice and the CHHHS for the designated primary care services.

The expected date of commencement of the private practice service is 1 July 2018.
