The Digital Transformation Agency seeks to enhance its reporting on insights into SME and Australian Business participation in ICT Procurement. This involves tagging AusTender data to identify whether a vendor is an SME and/or an Australian Business, and if they are either, where they are geographically located.

The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is expanding its insights into SME and Australian Business participation in government ICT procurement.

The Australian Government's procurement information system (AusTender) records contracts awarded for ICT procurements. However, AusTender does not identify whether vendors are SMEs, Australian Businesses or where SMEs and Australian Businesses are geographically located.

The DTA is interested in establishing a baseline (from 2015-16) of SME and Australian Business participation in ICT procurement and delivering ongoing insights.
