The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Building Code) applies to the building work associated with this project. By submitting a tender for this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016. Refer to the Building Code at www.employment.gov.au/building-code for further information.

As Main Roads will be directly managing the works, preparing and implementing Quality, SHW and Environmental Management Plans, Main Roads will assume responsibility for Workplace Health and Safety in the delivery of the Project. Main Roads' Safety Management System is Third Party certified (AS 4801, ISO 9001/14001). Accordingly, Main Roads will require the Tenderer to comply with its approved Safety, Health & Wellbeing Management System.
