Tender Description
3.1 Objectives of Council
Council is seeking Quotations from suitably qualified and experienced Respondents for the provision of Swimming Squad Coaching Services at its Birrong and Roselands Leisure & Aquatic Centres. Council manages its Swim School internally and provides mini squads and stroke correction programs. The successful contractor would be expected to provide an opportunity for swimmers to continue their swimming activities following the successful completion of Council's program, as well as catering for squad level swimmers.
Tenderers may submit for both facilities or just one.
3.2 Description of Services
(1) The service includes the provision of coaching services and programs for the following groups in mutually agreed, hired lane space with access to the club/fitness room (subject to availability and fees):
(a) Junior squads
(b) Group age and national swimmers
(c) Elite, international swimmers
(d) Open and still water swimmers
(e) Competitive Masters
(f) Amateur and competitive triathletes
(g) Fitness/social swimmers
(h) Additional services with agreement of Council.
(2) People attending squad training are to pay the leisure and aquatic centre entrance fee per visit. (This fee will be based on Council’s annually approved "Fees & Charges")
(3) The provision of this service will not include Swim School, mini squads and stroke correction programs.
