Tender ID: 347728
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Principals strategy for wastewater odour and corrosion control employs a mixture of solutions. The solutions utilised are largely dependent on the particular wastewater system and issue at hand. A variety of approaches is usually necessary as each issue of odour and/or corrosion requires technical evaluation before the best solution can be recommended and implemented.
The Waste Water Pump Station (WWPS) at Belmont 6 WWPS has historically been a source of odour complaints due to the very large upstream catchment, which includes a mixture of both residential, private pump to sewer and tradewaste/commercial wastewater flows.
Gas-Phase Odour & Corrosion Control has been determined as the preferred method to primarily mitigate odour impacts on surrounding residents and remove hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and other VOCs from the wet well and building to reduce wet well corrosion to the WWPS structure and components at Belmont 6 WWPS.
