Tender Description
The works comprise the design, provision, installation and certification of playground equipment, artificial shade and associated soft fall to meet the requirements of current Australian standards and the play equipment manufacturers guidelines within the municipality at (6) six nominated sites.
The works are split into (6) six separable portions being Airlie Park Brinkin, Armstrong Park Leanyer, Borella Park Jingili, Brian Chong Wee Park Woolner, Colster Park Wagaman and Freycinet Park Karama.
Each portion will be allocated to a single Contractor, but not all portions may be allocated to the same Contractor. Submissions for each portion will be assessed separately and it may be that different Contractors are awarded different portions of the overall project.
Council has undertaken public consultation regarding the development of the six playgrounds. A summary of the results of the public consultation is provided. Designs tendered shall consider the feedback from the public consultation, look to accommodate the aspirations of the community within the budget proposed for each site.
The total budget for this project will be $456,000.00 exclusive of GST.
The individual portion budget for (6) six portions for this project will be $76,000.00 each exclusive of GST.
A non-compulsory tender briefing shall be held at 11.00am Monday 26th February 2018, meet in foyer of Civic Centre.
