Tender Description
An Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Research, Development and Demonstration (RD&D) Projects Round 2018 is currently open. Applications are invited for funding consideration from the Coal Innovation NSW Fund.
In the EOI RD&D Projects Round 2018, funding is available under for two separate grant schemes:
* Seed funding, over 1 year, up to $100,000 (excl. GST) each project
* Research grants, 2 two years, up to $1.5 million (excl. GST) each project.
Projects are required to provide new learnings for low emissions coal technologies and/or increase public awareness and acceptance of the importance in low emissions coal technologies. Projects must be designed for the use of coal and/or for coal-fired power stations (including industrial sites e.g. steel and cement production) within NSW, and is directly related to aspects relevant to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Applications can be made for both funding streams if they meet the eligibility requirements and selection criteria.
Closing date for all applications is 12 noon on 12th March 2018.
