Emerald Cycleway Program

⁠⁠⁠2018T006C - Central Highlands Regional Council have secured funding to upgrade cycleways in Emerald. Phase 1 of the upgrade has been split into four (4) sites, namely:
Site 1 is along Opal Street, from Fysh Street, across New Street to the railway line parallel to the Capricorn Highway;
Site 2 is along the edge of Morton Park from the Capricorn Highway to Brief Street; and,
Site 3 is along the edge of Morton Park / Egan Street Parkland from Cypress Drive to Egan Street.
Site 4 is along Egan Street from Egan Street Parkland to the Gregory Highway.
