AECOM Government Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking proposals from suitably qualified organisations for the construction of a Utility Power Feeder and installation of associated high voltage electrical equipment located within the Alice Springs Region.
Beginning at a connection point to the 66/11kV Substation, new site electrical feeders are to be installed along with two water supply lines following an adjacent path.
The utilities being brought to the designated site location will cover a distance of approximately 1800 metres. The utilities will consist of the following:
1. Medium voltage electrical cable inside 3 separate 150 mm Heavy Duty conduit.
2. 1 x 50 mm Schedule 40 chlorinated water line and 1 x 250 mm C900 water line.
Civil works required including:
1. Trenching up to 1130 mm deep and 820 mm wide.
2. Shared trenching for utilities may be an option.
3. Each conduit will require an installation of 3 X 3C X 240 mm2 CU or 2 X 3C X 240 mm2 CU and 3 X 1C X 630 mm2 AL.
Construction of 325 m2 extension to existing infrastructure which will house high voltage electrical equipment and transformers.
