Tender Description
Council requires an Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERM) that provides a set of principles on which processes can be built including a system for monitoring, learning and improving organisational performance. It is essential that the Enterprise Risk Management Framework will allow Council to:
* Identify and monitor strategic risks
* Build on the identification of the risks within Council, and establish management practices to actively manage risk
* Move beyond internal controls and address issues such as strategy setting, governance, Communication with stakeholders and measuring performance
* Move beyond risk management as a restrictive tool on the Council’s strategic focus and through the positive and negative aspects of risk empower management to identify new opportunities and unique challenges associated with the current Council operating environment.
