Panel for the Provision of Natural Areas & Greenways Weed Control

⁠⁠⁠This contract is for herbicide weed spraying in natural areas and greenways within the City of Nedlands. The contract may be appointed to a panel of respondents who best demonstrate the ability to provide quality services at a competitive price within the required timeframes.

As a guide approximately 35 to 40 days with two spraying operators will be required between June to August to undertake the perennial grass and bulbous weed control program. In some sites hand weeding may be required in conjunction with herbicide spraying.

Weeds to be controlled are mainly Perennial Veldt Grass and geophytic weeds (primarily Lachenalia reflexa, Freesia, One Leaf Cape Tulip, Ixia and Black Flag) along with some annual and perennial grass and broad leaf weeds.
