Woolgoolga to Ballina, HW10 Pacific Highway Upgrade, Section 5 Foamed Bitumen

⁠⁠⁠Suitably qualified contractors are invited to tender on the construction of a section of the northbound and southbound carriageways on the Pacific Highway from chainage 81,300 to 96,250 (Section 5).

The Works, known as “HW10 Pacific Highway Upgrade, Woolgoolga to Ballina - Section 5 Foamed Bitumen”, is for the supply and construction of foamed bitumen pavement on the northbound carriageway of the Pacific Highway from chainage 81300 to chainage 96250 and the southbound carriageways of the Pacific Highway from chainage 82000 to chainage 96250 as shown on the drawings.

The Contractor must be prequalified with Roads and Maritime Services under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts at Financial Category F15 or higher.

The organisation undertaking the stabilisation work must be registered with the Principal in Category Z1: Stabilisation works.

This tender provides an opportunity for local industry participation.

The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement for: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project.

It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work and while the contract work is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.

Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest or tender response) and to any successful application being awarded.
