Tender Description
This package is for the provision of site wide dust suppression services and minor works such as grading and compacting during the construction phase of the project. Services apply to common areas of the site and areas occupied by other Contractors and will relate to:
* Roads;
* Laydowns; and
* Access Tracks.
Contractors shall supply all labour, semitrailer water carts, heavy rigid water carts, polymer additives, tools, consumables, plant and equipment, temporary pipes, standpipes, pumps and generators, light vehicles for execution of scope. BHP will provide flights, accommodation and water for dust suppression.
In accordance with BHP’s commitments to building local and Indigenous contractor capability in the resources sector, as set out in its Australian Industry Participation Plan, BHP anticipates that this contract package will be awarded to local Pilbara businesses/ Indigenous contractors.
