Tender Description
This package is for provision of miscellaneous civil works including the following:
* Earthworks for laydowns;
* Roadworks (unsealed);
* Car parks;
* Fencing and gate installation;
* Buried services including piping (potable water, waste water), electrical (power, communications cables);
* Signs and Lighting;
* Installation of standard transportable buildings; and
* Installation of security boom gate.
Contractors shall supply all labour, supervision, management, tools, consumables, plant and equipment, generators, light vehicles for execution of scope. BHP will provide construction water, stockpile and spoil areas, borrow/fill materials, flights and accommodation.
In accordance with BHP’s commitments to building local and Indigenous contractor capability in the resources sector, as set out in its Australian Industry Participation Plan, BHP anticipates that this contract package will be awarded to local Pilbara businesses/ Indigenous contractors.
