Supply of High Quality Art Materials for Martumili Artists (Separable Portions)

⁠⁠⁠The Principal is seeking Tenders from suppliers to supply the Martumili Artists (MMA) with high quality art materials on an ongoing basis, and to provide advice and technical support as needed.

While the Principal has indicated certain type of "brand component" due to the fact they are presently being utilised by MMA as preferred high quality art supplies, the Principal may accept similar/compatible art components as an "ALTERNATIVE RESPONSE".

The Principal may in its absolute discretion reject any such Alternative Response as invalid.

The subsequent Contract awarded to the successful Tenderer will be for the period from award to the 30th June, 2020, with a further option period of twelve months at the absolute discretion of the Principal's Chief Executive Officer.

The scope of works is for the supply of high quality art materials for MMA. The art materials have been split into Separable Portion Pricing Units.

Tenderers can submit pricing for one only, multiple or all separable portions.

Quantity is based on demand, on average MMA are producing over 1000 completed canvases of which approximately half of these are on externally sourced pre-primed cotton and linen and half are primed on site with both cotton and linen.

MMA keep in stock at least two 10Lt buckets of 20 Matisse colours at all times and another 27 in 250ml tubs and stock take all materials on average around three to four times a year.

Timber is used more and more as MMA are now able to offer stretching of finished work onsite and anticipate that as time goes on MMA will be requiring additional timber both mitred and un-mitred and stock take on average two to three times a year.

Stocktakes on all other materials are done with the paint three to four times are year and are kept well stocked at all times.
