SE NSW HHF - Principle Design Consultant

University of Canberra is seeking submissions from suitably experienced and qualified Design Consultants to undertake the role of a Principle Design Consultant as described in the issued RFT documentation. The Principle Design Consultant will be required to manage a design team.

The Commonwealth has developed the HHF Program Regional Priority initiative with the objective of improving access to essential health services to as many Australians as possible living in rural, regional, and remote areas through investments in health infrastructure.

In 2015, the Commonwealth and The University of Canberra undertook a re-scoping exercise which confirmed the following scope priorities:
* medium scale clinical training facilities in Bega and Cooma;
* maintaining the use of these buildings for their intended use throughout the lives of the training facilities; and
* accommodation units for students and visiting clinical staff in Bega, but in relation to The

University of Canberra requirements only.

These facilities have been approved and will be funded by the Commonwealth. Concept designs have been completed and endorsed for the Bega and Cooma Critical Training Facilities. The Bega Student Accommodation will need to progress through concept design under this RFT.
